Welcome to my site. Let me tell you something about myself. I am of Native American heritage, and follow the Native American path of living, spirituality and healing. I am not/nor do I claim to be a card carrying/enrolled tribal member. I simply try to gently walk the path of my father and his people.

Since I was a small child I have worked with herbs, and honor them for the blessings they bring to our lives. It is my belief, that Creator has given us that which we need to remain healthy, on all levels. It is up to us to learn about these gifts, and then utilize them. I am NOT a physician, and DO NOT prescribe anything to anyone. However, I will make suggestions to those who inquire about herbs, herbal tinctures/compounds/formulations, etc., and tell them to investigate my suggestions, I do strongly urge them to speak with their physician about them. Only after doing so, should they make a decision about using any healing product or methodology. We are talking about your body, your health and well being, and you must make your own choices.

My formulas and products have taken long thought, research and careful personal hand compounding. I am the guinea pig, for any product you find on my sites. Only when I am confident that it will perform as it should, will cause no harm, to the best of my knowledge/experience; do I place it before the public.

The latest release Anti-Herp ™ ©, (introduced June 2001) came through the request of a friend who is severely impacted by both, oral and genital herpes. I have had bouts with the oral form, but truly infrequent ones (more than a year apart). Forty some years ago, after the very stress-filled death of my first child, I was assailed by a very painful and prolonged bout of shingles. Nothing that the doctors prescribed did anything for the condition, it lasted for over a year and a half. I used several herbs to help with the condition, but was not deeply involved in the compounding of formulas at that time. Since then I have become involved in the research, compounding/formulating of herbal combinations for specific conditions.

You will read below, in two of the notes I have gotten from users of this salve, how quickly and well it works. I am so grateful to Creator, for having led me to compounding this product. I have also included in this site some information on Herpes type I and Herpes type II. I sincerely hope this is of service to you.

ANTI-HERP SALVE

This salve was specially formulated for those who suffer from the rashes, skin eruptions (Cold sores, fever blisters, shingles, Sun Blisters - common with Herpes sufferers, etc.) caused by the Herpes Virus.

There is no reason to suffer any longer, with the burning sores, the continuous eruptions that are unsightly and embarrassing. At the first sign of an outbreak, facial or genital, apply this salve and feel the immediate relief it brings. See how quickly this salve dries up the oncoming or already existing infection, not a week or more, but almost immediately. Sores that have not erupted, do not do so, and those that have disappear in days.

Nine (9) exactingly blended medicinal herb oils combined with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Beeswax, make this a potent remedy. (Some pictured below).

This salve also has been tested on spider bites, which I am highly allergic to, and it gave immediate relief. The itching and swelling disappeared within 15 min., the bite itself healed within 1 week, rather than the normal month it takes. In addition it has been used on poison ivy, with quick results.

Herpes Virus --- Simplex I & Simplex II

Herpes Virade is a family of viruses totaling more than 90 in type, of which 4 are important to humans.

Varicella-zoster is the virus that causes chickenpox and shingles.

Epstein-Barr Syndrome is responsible for infectious mononucleosis, cytomegalovius, and can be present without outward symptoms. However, people with compromised immune systems can experience devastating results as well as newborn infants.

Herpes Simplex type I (HSV-I) is that which causes skin eruptions, shingles, cold sores, fever blisters, sun blisters. This form of Herpes is seen in 20 to 40 % of the American population as the above noted results.   However, it is believed that most who are infected do not present these physical indications; possibly that a higher proportion of the population, 40 to 80% might well be infected, but it is not made manifest, except when extreme stress or suppression of the immune system promotes an outbreak. This virus can also cause Herpes Keratitis, which inflames the eye cornea. Repeated flare-ups of Herpes Keratitis can result in scarring and loss of vision.

Herpes Simplex type II (HSV2) is a extremely prevalent disease, which is sexually transmitted disease which affects more than 30 million Americans. Actually more than 30 million Americans, 1 in every 6, 15 yrs. of age and older are believed to carry this type II infection, though about 50% never develop serious symptoms. Pregnant women who have this infection need to be extremely careful, as the infant can contract the disease in the birth canal. This has resulted in brain damage, blindness and even death. Simplex II can be a silent infection which has no apparent affect on the carrier. In serious cases it can inflame the liver, and cause fever.

Herpes, once in ones body, never leaves. It is impervious to being found and dealt with by the immune system as it locates and lives in nerve cells. It may well lay dormant for long periods, but if the immune system becomes compromised by many factors including illness, stress, fatigue, sun exposure, then the virus and it's resulting sores, will make themselves apparent. For some who are lucky these outbreaks might not occur more than once a year, but others may suffer swiftly recurrent bouts.

Oral herpes HSV-I sores normally appear within 2 to 7 days, after initial exposure to the herpes virus. We are all quite familiar with cold sores and how painful they can be. Many are also prone to the sores resulting from sun exposure. Often one sore will spread and the result is a cluster of sores, or even the entire mouth and nasal area being affected.

Genital herpes HSV-II onset usually comes approximately 4 to 8 days, after initial contact with the virus. In women the rapid onset of blisters can develop around the clitoris, cervix, rectum, in the vagina itself within hours. The symptoms of the outbreak usually include painful urination and a watery discharge from the urethra. In men the blisters manifest on the scrotum, penis, and in the groin areas. Men too can experience painful urination. They may also experience tenderness of the groin area lymph nodes, and swelling of the penis foreskin.

Blisters that occur during outbreaks are very painful. One experiences a tingling, burning sensation prior to their eruption. They are fluid filled and highly infectious until completely healed. The sores can last a week or more, and flu like symptoms can be present, including fever and headache.   Once the pus erupts, painful ulcers form, and then crust over, drying as they heal.

While it was previously believed that genital herpes was only transmittable during a visible outbreak, some studies are now indicating that this is not true. It is now being suggested that the best protection is to avoid sex, and or remain in a relationship with an uninfected partner. Furthermore both types can infect the mouth, the genitals, or both. Oral sex can spread the virus from one area to another.

Women with Genital Herpes are at increased risk of cervical cancer. The should be extremely conscientious about having annual Pap smears and gynecological exams.

Researchers at Cornell University Medical Center in New York City, have found the virus induces arterial changes that promote blood clotting and cholesterol buildup. Excess serum cholesterol sets the stage for athero- sclerosis. This excess serum cholesterol may be a result of certain herpes viruses, including HSV-1, therefore should also be watched carefully.

Those who suffer from Herpes should also investigate Epstien Barr Syndrome and how to deal with it, as often they are both present.
